Lodi was written by John Fogerty and recorded by the band Creedence Clearwater Revival. Its known for telling the story of a traveling musician stuck in the town of Lodi, California, which became symbolic of any situation a person cant escape from. Fogerty has said he hadnt visited Lodi before writing the song, but thought it sounded like the name of a city youd get stuck in.
