Guitar chords Sailing

Sailing was originally penned by Gavin Sutherland in 1972 as a folk song. It was popularized by Rod Stewart in 1975 when released as a single from his album Atlantic Crossing. The song talks about the desire to return home and the feeling of freedom sailing brings. Although many think it reflects Stewarts sailing experiences, it has been interpreted to convey feelings of hope and liberation.
