The Masterplan was composed by Noel Gallagher and released as the B-side to Oasiss Wonderwall single. The song speaks about having hope and faith in the future, even when things seem uncertain. Gallagher later expressed his regret at not including the track on the (Whats the Story) Morning Glory? album, considering it one of his finest compositions.
