Golden Slumbers forma parte de un popurrí en el lado B del álbum Abbey Road de The Beatles y se basa en un poema de Thomas Dekker. McCartney encontró el poema en una canción de cuna en el libro de su padrastro y compuso la música alrededor de él, agregando una melodía que difería del poema original.
