The Jezabels are a four-piece musical group from Sydney. They formed after meeting at the University of Sydney. Their music has been described as a blend of Alternative Rock, indie rock, and disco pop. The Jezabels themselves, somewhat jocularly, describe their genre to be "intensindie". The band's members are Hayley Mary (also known as Hayley McGlone) (vocals), Heather Shannon (piano/keyboard), Nik Kaloper (drums) and Samuel Lockwood (guitar). M ... See more [+] ary and Shannon first began playing together in Byron Bay, New South Wales, before moving to Sydney to attend university, where they met Kaloper and Lockwood, and formed the band. As of 2011 they have released three EPs and one full-length album (see Discography), all with producer and engineer Lachlan Mitchell.
