Dont Let Me Down was written by John Lennon as a heartfelt expression of his feelings for Yoko Ono, who he felt was the only person who truly believed in him. It was released in 1969 as the B-side of the Beatles Get Back single and is often associated with the famous Rooftop Concert, which was the last public performance of the Beatles.
