Where Is My Mind? is a song by the American band Pixies. It was written by lead vocalist and guitarist Black Francis while he attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, inspired by his experiences while scuba diving in the Caribbean. The song was influenced by the feeling of being out of place and disoriented he felt while underwater.
